Many of us know the basic stories of the Bible that have shaped our faith development through the years. As adults we sometimes have the background knowledge to be able to apply the lessons and sermons we hear in church as we try to process the meaning in our brains. But, at times, even we wrestle with texts and the age-old stories. Children and youth especially need sensory activities for processing ideas in our minds and formulating our thoughts. Intergenerational Worship experiences can help our brains process what we are feeling and wondering about when we incorporate the dynamics of multisensory pieces within the gatherings to help us upload faith development.
